As a Yacht Bottom Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, priming, and painting the lower hulls of yachts, ensuring high-quality finishes that protect against corrosion and marine growth. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of paint types and application techniques, and a commitment to safety and environmental standards. Requirements: Prepare yacht bottoms by sanding, scraping, and cleaning surfaces to ensure proper paint adhesion. Apply primers, anti-fouling paints, and coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Inspect painted surfaces for defects and perform necessary touch‑ups or repairs. Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition. Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations related to paint application and disposal. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards. Qualifications: Heavy equipment operating experience. Previous marina yard work. Travel lift experience. Knowledge of operating, securing, rigging, and de‑rigging a vessel. Experience with hand and power tools. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Self‑motivated team player. Clean driving record. Permanent authorization to work in the USA. No visa sponsorship available.
