Global Commercial Strategy (GCS) Oncology: Senior Director, Portfolio Strategy

Senior Director leading long-term oncology portfolio strategy and investment decisions at Pfizer. Develops commercial strategies across tumor types and modalities, translates scientific and market insights into enterprise recommendations, and partners across R&D, commercial, medical, and finance functions to maximize patient impact and portfolio value.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and evolution of oncology portfolio strategy across tumor types and modalities
- Develop long-range scenarios and strategic roadmaps informing investment priorities and resource allocation
- Integrate scientific, clinical, competitive, and commercial insights into cohesive portfolio strategies
- Drive cross-functional teams and strategic initiatives with enterprise-wide impact on portfolio decisions
- Mentor colleagues and advance portfolio management capabilities and AI-enabled decision approaches
Requirements
- Strategic portfolio management and long-range planning experience in pharma or life sciences
- Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities for investment prioritization
- Cross-functional leadership experience across R&D, commercial, medical, and finance teams
- Deep knowledge of oncology landscape, competitive dynamics, and emerging modalities
- Executive communication skills and ability to influence senior leadership
- Experience with governance frameworks and portfolio decision-support methodologies
