Job Description Minimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required. Soliant Education is seeking a qualified School Psychologist (Itinerant) to join our team in the Yeadon, PA area! This full-time, on-site position for the 2024-2025 school year offers the rewarding opportunity to provide prehensive psychological services to students in multiple schools within a designated district. What You'll Do Conduct individual and group psychoeducational assessments to identify the academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs of students across multiple schools within a designated district. Develop and interpret psychological reports with remendations for interventions and support strategies specifically designed for the unique needs of students in various school settings. Collaborate with general and special education teachers, administrators, parents, and other school staff across multiple schools to create effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans for students with diverse needs. Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address students' social-emotional needs, including anxiety, depression, and peer relationships, focusing on strategies to promote success throughout their school years in various settings. Consult with teachers and staff across multiple schools on classroom management strategies and positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS) appropriate for students of varying ages and needs. Participate in school-wide initiatives across multiple schools to foster a positive school climate and social-emotional well-being for all students. Stay up-to-date on best practices in school psychology with a focus on serving students in diverse school environments, and participate in professional development opportunities to maintain expertise in supporting learners across settings. Qualifications Pennsylvania State School Psychologist License. Prior experience working as a school psychologist in an itinerant role, serving students in multiple schools, is highly preferred. Strong assessment skills in the areas of intellectual functioning, academic achievement, social-emotional development, and behavior specific to students of varying ages. Excellent written and verbal munication skills, with the ability to effectively municate with students of varying ages, parents, and school staff across multiple settings. Proficiency in data analysis and report writing. Collaborative and team-oriented approach with a mitment to student success in diverse school environments. Strong understanding of child development and learning theories as they apply to students across various grade levels. Knowledge of evidence-based interventions and best practices in school psychology tailored to the needs of students in multiple school settings.
