We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech Pathologist to join our Home Health team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive speech therapy services to patients in the comfort of their homes. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in improving the lives of our patients through effective communication and swallowing therapies.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to determine patient needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's goals and abilities.
• Provide speech therapy interventions focused on improving communication and swallowing abilities.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and coordinated care.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and their families on speech therapy techniques and strategies for continued progress.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in speech pathology through ongoing professional development.

Qualifications :

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) and state licensure in Virginia.
• 1 year of experience in speech therapy, with a preference for home health or related settings.
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools for documentation.

Working Conditions :

• This position requires travel to patients' homes in Northern Virginia
