Manager, Machine Learning / HANDS-ON

A data-driven enterprise in Chicago is seeking a Machine Learning leader to drive advanced analytics and AI initiatives across the organization. This full-time role focuses on building and deploying scalable ML solutions using modern Python-based frameworks, cloud-native tooling, and production-grade MLOps practices. You’ll work with high-volume, high-dimensional data in a collaborative, business-facing environment. This is not a research-only position — it’s an opportunity to own real business problems from idea to production. The team is looking for someone who enjoys balancing hands‑on technical work with mentoring a small group of scientists and partnering directly with stakeholders. You’ll gain exposure to a wide variety of problem domains, modern ML architectures, and enterprise-scale systems while maintaining a healthy balance between innovation and execution.
