Registered Nurse (RN), Medical/Surgical Unit Job Type: Full‑time 0.9 FTE or 72 hours/pp Schedule: 6 x 12‑hour shifts, days 7Â a.m.–7Â p.m., rotating weekends and holidays $7,500 sign‑on bonus available to qualified applicants Responsibilities Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatments. Document patient care provided. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family as appropriate. Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. Evaluate learning needs of patients and/or families, and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients. Qualifications Applicants must hold a current Michigan RN license and possess an associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor’s preferred).
