AI Product Manager

A financial firm is looking for a AI Product Manager to join their team in New York, NY. Pay: $105-109/hr Candidates must be local; No Relocation Responsibilities Own the roadmap and success metrics for agentic AI systems; Translate user pain points into clear requirements, user stories, and objective functions focused on reliability, risk reduction, and cost savings Guide end-to-end development from discovery to launch; Establish business-facing evaluation frameworks for foundational/open-source LLMs, prioritizing RAG pipelines, prompt synthesis, and validation loops Prioritize integrations with observability, incident management, and deployment systems to enable automated diagnostics, runbook execution, and intelligent post-incident analysis Conduct deep user research with production engineers and application teams to translate their challenges into an auditable, impactful AI product roadmap Establish frameworks for AI safety, compliance, and governance; Collaborate with legal and engineering to define deterministic fallbacks, rollback strategies, and least-privilege access policies Define and monitor SLOs/KPIs for cost, latency, and satisfaction; Drive optimization via prompt engineering, caching, and model routing Own the RAG pipeline product strategy, defining data quality requirements, domain knowledge scope, and feedback loops for knowledge freshness Lead design reviews, champion data-driven experimentation, and mentor peers on AI product management and safe deployment patterns Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent 10–15 years of professional experience, with a significant portion in product management Proven track record of leading large, multi-team product initiatives, ideally for AI/ML or technical cloud-based platforms Deep technical understanding of the AI/ML lifecycle, including LLMs, agentic architectures, RAG pipelines, and MLOps; Ability to lead deep technical discussions without needing to code Demonstrated ability to translate complex workflows and technical user needs into prioritized, actionable roadmaps Strong analytical skills with experience tracking KPIs to drive data-informed decisions in fast-paced, cross-functional environments #J-18808-Ljbffr
