About the Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our healthcare team. As a Sterile Processing Technician , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by efficiently sterilizing and maintaining medical instruments and equipment. Your attention to detail and adherence to sterilization protocols will directly contribute to the success of our healthcare facility.

Job Duties / Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and disassemble soiled medical instruments and equipment, ensuring proper documentation and tracking.
• Clean, decontaminate, and sanitize instruments using specialized equipment, detergents, and cleaning processes.
• Assemble, package, and prepare sterile instrument trays, surgical kits, and equipment sets following established protocols and quality standards.
• Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves, ensuring accurate cycle selection and proper loading techniques.
• Monitor and document sterilization processes, including time, temperature, and pressure parameters, to ensure efficacy and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of all sterilized items, including lot numbers and expiration dates, in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

• Candidate must have 1+year of experience in a hospital settings
• HSPA certified
• BLS (AHA)
• Covid card
