Key Responsibilities The responsibilities of the Licensed Mental Health Counselor include, but are not limited to: Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients to understand their mental health needs and challenges. Developing effective and personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and others. Delivering individual therapy sessions designed to empower clients, fostering resilience and emotional well-being. Establishing therapeutic goals with clients and consistently monitoring their progress to ensure they are on the right path toward achieving their mental health objectives. Facilitating teletherapy options to accommodate clients' accessibility challenges and preferences, enhancing their ability to receive support. Maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation of client interactions and treatment progress, upholding ethical standards in mental health practice. Engaging in ongoing professional development activities, including training and workshops, to stay informed about best practices and new methodologies in mental health treatment.
