Starting Date: Immediately Job Description Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent computer skills Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable Reports To Principal Job Goal To complete the detail and written work and to coordinate other matters essential to the efficiency and effectiveness of the administrative supervisors. Performance Responsibilities Obtain, gather, and organize pertinent data as needed, including enrollment information, and put it into usable form. Maintain a regular filing system, as well as a set of locked confidential files, and process incoming correspondence as instructed. Place and receive telephone calls and record messages. Order and maintain supplies as needed. Perform any bookkeeping tasks associated with the specific position. Maintain a schedule of appointments and make arrangements for conferences and interviews. Welcome visitors and arrange for their comfort, and screen unexpected callers in accordance with predetermined policy. Operate word processors, computers, calculators, copiers and facsimile machines. Perform usual office routines. Maintain such student records as shall be required. Maintain a daily teacher attendance log and the records for substitute teachers. Maintain a log of visitors to the school. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by building administrator.
