Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Teaching Artist based in Chicago, IL. The Teaching Artist will design and deliver arts-focused workshops and programs that foster creativity, engagement, and learning for diverse audiences. The role involves developing curriculum, collaborating with other artists and educators, and organizing innovative, culturally relevant artistic experiences. The Teaching Artist will also mentor participants, assess progress, and nurture a deep appreciation for arts and culture. Qualifications Experience in Teaching, Curriculum Design, and Workshop Facilitation Proficiency in Visual Arts, Performing Arts, or Digital Media Strong Communication, Interpersonal, and Collaborative Skills Understanding of Arts Education and its cultural impact Skills in Community Engagement and Advocacy for the Arts Ability to work with diverse participants, including youth and adults Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Education, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered Experience in program evaluation and reporting is a plus A passion for cultural development and innovation in arts education #J-18808-Ljbffr 32peces: Where Arts & Culture meet
