Join a company where your contributions help move the world forward—one shipment at a time.About the PositionThe Regional Driver NonCDL operates straight truck equipment in accordance with all DOT regulations to transport product safely and legally from the Distribution Centers, and their Vendor’s to their final destination. This position may be assigned to business units that require White Glove service that goes beyond standard shipping methods. The role must have good time management and communications skills to ensure that the product is delivered in a safe and timely manner.FunctionsOperates straight truck equipment in accordance with all DOT regulations to transport product safely and legally from the Distribution Centers to the Vendor’s destination.Operates the straight truck to ensure that the product is delivered in a timely manner.Understands the utilization of secure devices and straps, and monitors freight for secure devices and straps to ensure products are delivered to their final destination undamaged and in their original condition.Required to follow company policy, participate in required trainings and keep truck clean.Maintains driver’s daily logs, trip reports and other documents as required.Responsible for performing a full pre-trip and post-trip inspections on tractor-trailer.Immediately reports all instances of damaged product to the Transportation Supervisor/Manager.Provide White Glove service at every delivery.Communicates any delivery issues up line to the Transportation Supervisor/ManagerKeeps company equipment fueled, tidy, and in compliance with DOT and company inspection requirements.Accountable for all assigned tools and equipment.Maintain professional conduct and attitude towards other motorists who share the highway.Conform to all DOT and OSHA regulations and state laws.Perform any other reasonable request as directed by management.QualificationsMinimum 1 year of tractor trailer NonCDL driving experience required within the past 7 years.CDL may be required.Meets FMCSA and company requirements.Pass Background and Drug Screening.Clean driving record.CompetenciesAction Oriented - Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.Collaborates - Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.Decision Quality - Making good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward.Optimizes Work Processes - Knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.Situational Adaptability - Adapting approach and demeanor in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations.Travel RequirementsThis position is expected to travel approximately 75% >or greater.A passport is not required, but recommended.The approximate pay range for this job is:$29.20 - $43.73Benefits offered:Medical insurance including HSA, HRA and FSA accountsSupplemental insurance including critical illness, hospital indemnity, accidental injuryDental InsuranceVision InsuranceBasic Life and Supplemental LifeShort Term and Long Term DisabilityPaid Parental Leave401(k)Paid Time Off approximately 2 weeks (accrual begins on Day 1 of employment)Employer Paid Holidays- 10 daysKenco strives to provide a supportive, professional environment for all employees.
