HR Manager
Ready to lead HR operations for a mission-driven healthcare organization? An established healthcare organization in the NYC area is hiring an HR Manager to supervise its HR operations and daily departmental workflow!

Schedule
- Full-time, Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm (30-minute unpaid meal break)
- Split between two NYC-area sites (Lower Manhattan and Queens)
- Fully onsite (this is not a remote or hybrid role)
Compensation
- $90,000-$120,000 annually, based on experience
What You’ll Do
Oversee HR operations and daily workflow, implementing and refining core HR functions:
- Supervise HR operations staff and departmental workflow
- Manage onboarding, orientation, training, and staff safety programs
- Oversee HRIS updates, reporting, and employee records
- Coordinate payroll, benefits administration, and offboarding
- Support employee and labor relations, including performance appraisals, recognition, counseling, and grievances
- Collaborate with senior staff on retention and professional development
- Ensure compliance with Workers’ Compensation and employment regulations
What You Bring
- Roughly 10 years of experience managing HR processes
- At least 3 years in a supervisory role, preferably in healthcare
- Employee relations, benefits, and leave experience
- SHRM certification preferred
- Experience with HRIS and benefits administration
- Familiarity with unionized environments a plus
