We're currently seeking an experienced Senior Estimator with a strong design-build background to join our growing team. What You'll Do As a key member of our preconstruction team, you will: Develop conceptual budgets, cost estimates, and detailed proposals Present budgets and cost analyses directly to clients with confidence and professionalism Estimate ground-up commercial projects, tenant improvements, remodels, and buildouts Collaborate closely with our architectural and design teams to maintain budget alignment throughout the project lifecycle Lead reviews of project plans, specifications, RFPs, and RFIs Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers across the country Analyze construction cost trends and support continuous improvement of estimating processes. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Minimum 10 years of estimating experience within a commercial design-build environment Proven success developing and presenting project budgets to clients Experience supporting national commercial construction projects Strong knowledge of construction estimating, budgeting, and cost management Technical Skills Advanced proficiency in ProEst, BuildingConnected, and Microsoft Excel Strong blueprint reading and cost- analysis capabilities Experience with construction job costing and CSI formats Professional Skills Exceptional presentation and communication abilities Strong organizational and time-management skills Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and solution-focused mindset Why DBSI?
