Vehicle and tool allowance Advancement and growth opportunities Regular pay Consistent year-round work Supportive, locally owned business backed by the trusted Ace Hardware brand What You'll Do Perform a wide variety of residential repairs and maintenance Complete carpentry, drywall repair, painting, tile installation, and flooring projects Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs Install fixtures, doors, trim, cabinets, and other finish carpentry items Troubleshoot repair issues and determine the best solutions Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout each project Maintain accurate job documentation and complete work efficiently while upholding high quality standards What We're Looking For Successful prior track record as a Carpenter / Craftsman; estimation skills and prior home inspection experience strongly preferred Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing Own standard set of tools to perform all of the above trades Own truck or van with current and valid auto insurance coverage Current and valid driver's license Residence within a 10-mile radius of Avalon Park (FL 32828) Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills Strong documentation and invoicing skills Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to pass a background check and drug screen Ability to work at heights and lift 50 lbs. overhead Ideal Candidate You're dependable, self-motivated, and enjoy working independently while knowing you have the support of a strong local team behind you.
