Property Management Receptionist

Job Description

We are seeking a Property Management Receptionist for our client in Sacramento. This onsite, contract to hire role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience and grow within an organization that provides multiple career advancement paths. This position reports to the Residential Manager and is the first point of contact for tenants and the public. The Property Management Receptionist will handle inquiries via phone, email and in person. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in an office-based customer support role, demonstrating strong problem-solving, listening skills, and exceptional customer service. The ability to handle complaints professionally and calmly is essential. Experience in property management is a plus.

• Pay: $20.93 per hour
• Location : Onsite, Sacramento
• Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:30 am - 5:30 pm, Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, Every Other Friday Off

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain a professional and empathetic attitude while responding promptly to inquiries and resolving complaints.
• Process work orders, applications, and requests while accurately maintaining records of interactions and transactions.
• Engage with customers through various channels, handle rental inquiries, and support on-site marketing functions.
• Exercise discretion with sensitive information and ensure compliance with Fair Housing and Landlord/Tenant laws.
• Support residents with work orders, ensuring timely and high-quality completion to maintain satisfaction.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service, strong verbal and written skills, and the ability to remain professional and courteous in all interactions.
• Willingness to assist internal and external customers, work effectively in a team environment, and assign tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, strong multitasking abilities, and self-management to prioritize tasks effectively.
• High school diploma or equivalent required, along with exceptional customer relations skills.
