Job Responsibilities
- Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and design personalized therapy strategies to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals.
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor function, cognitive abilities, and daily activities.
- Engage with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with other OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide thorough, comprehensive care.
- Educate Patients and Families: Provide instructions and resources to patients and their families on therapy techniques, supporting their recovery journey at home.
- Track Progress and Adjust Care: Monitor clinical results and modify treatment plans as needed to keep patients on their intended path.
Qualifications
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
- Ongoing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and financially supported.
Certifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required.
