Your Role as a Diesel Technician

As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles while delivering the high-quality service our customers expect.

Responsibilities include:

• Diagnose and repair diesel engine performance concerns
• Perform repairs on heavy-duty and light-duty diesel vehicles
• Troubleshoot engine, fuel, emissions, electrical, cooling, and drivability systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service work
• Conduct inspections and test drives to verify repairs
• Complete warranty repairs according to GM manufacturer guidelines
• Use advanced diagnostic software and dealership repair systems
• Communicate repair recommendations and timelines with Service Advisors
• Maintain accurate repair documentation and repair orders
• Follow all manufacturer procedures and dealership safety standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area

What We're Looking For

We are looking for experienced technicians who bring:

• GM Certification and/or ASE Certifications
• Strong diesel diagnostic and repair experience
• Experience working on diesel engines, fuel systems, emissions systems, and electrical diagnostics
• Previous dealership service experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and advanced troubleshooting ability
• Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity standards
• Professional attitude and commitment to quality workmanship
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience operating electronic diagnostic equipment
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass pre-employment background
