GDT is seeking an experienced OTR Truck Driver with a strong background operating 53-foot refrigerated (reefer) trailers . The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, and looking for a long-term driving opportunity. Responsibilities Operate a 53-foot trailer safely and efficiently Transport refrigerated freight while monitoring temperature-controlled loads Plan routes to ensure on-time delivery Perform safe backing and maneuvering in tight spaces Maintain accurate records using ELD (electronic logging device) systems Communicate professionally with GDT staff and customers Follow DOT safety regulations and company policies Requirements Valid CDL – Class A (Required) Valid CDL Class A license with at least 3 consecutive years of current driving experience (Required) Experience operating refrigerated (reefer) trailers Strong backing skills Ability to drive manual and automatic trucks Clean MVR/Driving Record — no DWIs/DUIs in last 3 years, no major violations in 36 months, and no speeding 15+ mph over limit Clean background and driving record (no criminal record or major violations) Valid DOT Medical Card Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and participate in random testing (Clearinghouse compliant) Dry van experience required TWIC Card Must be able to operate electronic logs and understand DOT Hours of Service rules Professional, respectful attitude What We’re Looking For Drivers seeking long-term work Reliable and safety-focused professionals Respectful team players who represent the company well Join the GDT Transport Team If you take pride in your work, value safety, and want a steady part-time OTR route that fits your lifestyle, we want to hear from you!
