GDT is seeking an experienced OTR Truck Driver with a strong background operating 53-foot refrigerated (reefer) trailers . The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, and looking for a long-term driving opportunity. Responsibilities * Operate a 53-foot trailer safely and efficiently * Transport refrigerated freight while monitoring temperature-controlled loads * Plan routes to ensure on-time delivery * Perform safe backing and maneuvering in tight spaces * Maintain accurate records using ELD (electronic logging device) systems * Communicate professionally with GDT staff and customers * Follow DOT safety regulations and company policies Requirements * Valid CDL - Class A (Required) * Valid CDL Class A license with at least 3 consecutive years of current driving experience (Required) * Experience operating refrigerated (reefer) trailers * Strong backing skills * Ability to drive manual and automatic trucks * Clean MVR/Driving Record — no DWIs/DUIs in last 3 years, no major violations in 36 months, and no speeding 15+ mph over limit * Clean background and driving record (no criminal record or major violations) * Valid DOT Medical Card * Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and participate in random testing (Clearinghouse compliant) * Dry van experience required * TWIC Card * Must be able to operate electronic logs and understand DOT Hours of Service rules * Professional, respectful attitude What We're Looking For * Drivers seeking long-term work * Reliable and safety-focused professionals * Respectful team players who represent the company well Join the GDT Transport Team If you take pride in your work, value safety, and want a steady part-time OTR route that fits your lifestyle, we want to hear from you!
