ICU Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. This position primarily focuses on providing high-quality care in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with additional responsibilities in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The role includes floating between various facilities as needed within the region.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver exceptional nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU and PCU.Monitor patient status and implement appropriate interventions.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Administer medications, infusions, and treatments as necessary.Participate in care planning and patient education.Provide mentorship and guidance to nursing aides and nursing staff.Shift DetailsShift Length: 12 hoursGuaranteed Hours: 36 hours per weekSchedule: Nights, every other weekendHolidays: Rotating schedule with permanent staffUnit InformationTotal Beds: 82 (48 ICU, 34 PCU) across 3 separate floorsPatient Ratios: ICU: 1:1 - 1:2PCU: 1:3Common Patients: All critical care diagnosesQualificationsMust have 2 years of experience in a critical care setting.Required Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS Certification.Experience with ventilators and complex medication drips preferred.Additional InformationMust be willing to float between multiple facilities within the region as needed.Orientation will include a maximum of 1 week with an educator and a minimum of 2 shifts.1 Charge Nurse and 2 Nurse Aides per floor to support staff.Full-time respiratory therapy and pharmacy support available 24/7.Client Details City Tacoma State WA
