CDL/Class A Truck Driver/ Pick-Up & Delivery Join the Oak Harbor Freight Lines family, where success and tradition meet in a regional trucking story spanning over a century. Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently tractor trailer combinations between terminals or meet points.
- Adapting to challenging conditions like inclement weather and various road conditions.
- Ability to meet the Company's reliability standard for employees.
- Ability to chain as needed and to work in inclement weather is required.
- Availability to work weekends and/ or nights if needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- At least 21 years old
- Class A CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and Double/Triples endorsements.
- At least one year of verifiable commercial driving experience with similar equipment.
- Doubles/triples & chaining experience is preferred but not required.
- Valid DOT Medical Certification.
- Must have a clean driving record. No DUI, reckless driving, or positive drug/alcohol screen in the last 3 years.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers, co-workers, and dispatch/managers.
- Basic English proficiency in reading, writing and verbal communication.
- Overtime after 8 hours!!
- Medical, dental, vision - You choose which plan suits you and our family.
- Employee pays up to 2% of gross income.
- Employee and Family pays up to 4% of gross income.
- 401K match of 100% on the first 5% contribution.
- Accrue 80 hours of PTO within the first 11 months.
- Holiday pay after your 90 days.
- Cell phone stipend.
- Home nightly.
