What Makes This Role Special As a Multi-Unit Assistant Lead Supervisor, you\'ll support in delivering excellent guest experiences, ensuring team development, and maintaining high quality and operational standards. You\'ll assist in day-to-day operations at two sites (Grosse Pointe and Sterling Heights) under leadership, help foster culture, and help ensure consistency in execution. A Day in the Life Support your team and bakery operations at two sites (Grosse Pointe and Sterling Heights) while creating joy for guests. Throughout your shift, you\'ll: Guide team members to deliver exceptional service Ensure quality standards in cake production Support daily operations and special orders Help maintain a positive work environment Assist with administrative duties and reporting Partner with management on business goals We Will Teach You Leadership and coaching techniques Business operations management Financial and P&L basics Team development strategies Inventory and cost control Guest service excellence Community engagement approaches Administrative procedures What Success Looks Like Supporting team training and development Maintaining operational excellence Ensuring consistent quality standards Managing daily workflows effectively Contributing to positive team culture Supporting community engagement Demonstrating our core values daily Perfect Fit For Current retail or food service team leads ready to grow Shift supervisors seeking more responsibility Detail-oriented leaders who love developing others Operations-focused professionals with guest service passion Problem-solvers who enjoy supporting team success Early birds who enjoy morning leadership shifts What You Bring to the Table 2-4 years of leadership experience in retail or food service (multi-site experience preferred) High school diploma/GED (post-secondary education a plus) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Basic business math and computer proficiency Problem-solving and organizational abilities Food safety certification (or within 30 days) Flexible to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, and weekends Able and willing to work at both the Sterling Heights and Grosse Pointe locations.
