Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, Overnight
Pay: Starting at $20/hour during paid training, with performance-based production pay after training

About the Job

HOODZ of the Lowcountry & Coastal Georgia is looking for hardworking, dependable people to join our team as Kitchen Hood Cleaning Crew Leaders .

No previous kitchen hood cleaning experience is required. We provide paid training and a clear path to advance from Trainee to Technician, Crew Leader, and eventually Senior Crew Leader.

This is physical, overnight work . It's not an office job, and it's not easy work—but if you like working with your hands, being part of a team, and having the opportunity to earn more as you develop, this could be a great fit.

Our crews help protect restaurants, hospitals, schools, hotels, and other commercial kitchens by cleaning their exhaust systems and helping prevent dangerous grease fires.

What You'll Do

• Work overnight shifts, Sunday through Thursday

• Drive a company truck to approximately 2–3 job sites per night

• Clean commercial kitchen exhaust systems using pressure washers and specialized equipment

• Work on roofs, ladders, and in confined spaces

• Work in hot, cold, wet, and greasy environments

• Follow company safety procedures and commercial kitchen cleaning standards

• Complete jobs thoroughly and according to HOODZ quality standards

• Maintain equipment, trucks, and supplies

• Work closely with your crew to complete jobs safely and efficiently

• Communicate professionally with customers and team members

• As you advance, lead a crew and train new team members

What You Need

• A valid driver's license and reliable driving history

• Ability to work overnight Sunday–Thursday

• Ability to work 10–12+ hour shifts

• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

• Ability to climb ladders and work on roofs

• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions

• Dependability and a strong work ethic

• Willingness to learn and follow instructions

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• A professional attitude when working at customer locations

No previous experience is required. We will train the right person.

Compensation & Career Path

We provide paid training and a clear path for advancement:

Weeks 1–4: Trainee
$20/hour with paid training

Months 1–5: Technician
Production pay based on job revenue, with top-performing technicians earning $25+/hour.

12+ Months: Crew Leader
Continue running your own truck while helping manage additional crews, with the opportunity to earn additional team management bonuses.

Qualifications:

• Willing and able to work overnight shifts (Sunday-Thursday, 6 pm-9 am typical)

• Ability to communicate effectively with both team members and clients, fostering a collaborative work environment
• Proven track record of maintaining equipment and vehicles, ensuring they are in top working condition
• Familiarity with safety protocols, including PPE usage, ladder safety, and lockout procedures
• Skill in documenting work accurately, with attention to detail in reports and photographic evidence

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple job sites and ensure timely completion of tasks
