As a contract school psychologist, you’ll deliver expertise that shapes student success while working closely with educators and families. This full-time, onsite position runs from August 20, 2026, through May 20, 2027, with a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours.

You’ll primarily serve a welcoming school community in Emporia, with all assignments located within a brief 20-minute radius—ensuring you can maintain a manageable workday while reaching students who benefit from your skillset.

Qualifications:

• Current, valid Kansas School Psychologist license required
• Master’s (or higher) in School Psychology or related field
• Experience supporting K-12 populations preferred
• Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to fostering positive, inclusive educational environments

Responsibilities:

• Conduct student assessments and interpret results for educational planning
• Develop and support the implementation of behavioral and academic interventions
• Collaborate with teaching staff, administration, and parents to facilitate student growth
• Provide crisis intervention and participate in student support teams as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and records per district and legal guidelines
• Contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs) and multi-disciplinary meetings
