Litigation Paralegal
Protouch Staffing
Our client is an AV® rated maritime defense firm devoted to representing vessel owners, operators and charterers, cruise lines, concessionaires, cargo interests, marine insurance underwriters, protection & indemnity associations, and marine lenders. Their representation in admiralty and maritime matters includes an extensive civil trial and appellate practice in state and federal courts throughout Florida.
Qualifications- 5+ years of paralegal experience handling federal court cases
- 5+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and LexisNexis
- Familiarity with Clio or other case/document management software (preferred)
We're looking for an experienced, organized, and self-motivated Litigation Paralegal to assist attorneys with all phases of litigation-from inception through trial. Responsibilities include pretrial investigation, heavy medical chronologies, discovery support, and trial preparation. Employment offer is contingent upon completion of a background check. Benefits
