Sr. Reliability Engineer - rotating equipment

Responsibilities The Sr. Reliability Engineer will conduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA) to identify equipment breakdown causes and develop solutions to prevent recurrence. Perform reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) studies to identify critical equipment and define maintenance strategies. Develop and implement predictive and preventive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to equipment reliability and downtime, generating reports to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and provide technical guidance on repair methods and tools to increase equipment longevity. Ensure that all reliability strategies comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Participate in safety audits and ensure that plant equipment adheres to industry safety protocols. Relocation provided. $160K-$190K. Qualifications The Sr. Reliability Engineer will have a BSME and 8+ years of experience in a chemical plant or refinery. Proficiency in reliability tools and methodologies (RCM, FMEA, RCA). Experience with predictive maintenance technologies. Troubleshooting of a wide range of rotating equipment — including pumps, turbines, compressors, gearboxes, fans, and blowers. Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
