Monitor Technician

Position Purpose At Saint Mary’s Hospital, the Cardiac Monitor Unit is responsible for monitoring patient cardiac rhythms. Responding in a timely way to alarms and communicating/reports dysrhythmias promptly to nursing staff. Document patient rhythm strips and all event‑associated communications with the highest quality. Employment Type Part time Shift Night Shift Minimum Qualifications Education: High School Graduate Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks Preferred Skills Experience: 1-3 years of Cardiac Monitor experience What You Will Do In this critical role you will be part of a multi‑disciplinary team, play an active part in unit shared decision making, and enjoy practice autonomy using nurse‑driven protocols.
