Midnight Shift Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

As a key member of our night shift team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our nursing department.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with their individualized plans of care, utilizing your expertise and compassion to ensure their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being

• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement effective treatment plans, promoting seamless communication and coordination of care

• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

• Monitor patient vital signs, respond to emergencies, and take prompt action to address any changes or concerns

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and caregivers, providing emotional support and education to empower them in their healthcare journey

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the ongoing evaluation and enhancement of our care delivery model

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure in the state of Michigan

• 1+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting

• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical terminology

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients as needed, with or without reasonable accommodation
