Job description:

Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist | Dedicated Clinical Support

More support behind the scenes. More quality time with your patients.

Our growing dental practice in Brick, NJ is looking for a compassionate Dental Hygienist who wants to provide meaningful, patient-focused care as part of a genuinely supportive team.

At our practice, hygienists are not expected to manage every part of the visit alone. You will work alongside a dedicated hygiene assistant who helps with X-rays, prepares and resets the operatory, and keeps the room organized and ready throughout the day.

This support is designed to remove non-hygiene tasks from your plate, protect your clinical focus, and give you more time to educate patients, understand their needs, and provide thoughtful care.

You will experience the close-knit atmosphere of a local practice with the resources, technology, and stability of an established dental group.

What Makes This Opportunity Different

• A dedicated hygiene assistant to support you throughout the day
• Assistance with X-rays, operatory setup, room turnover, and clinical preparation
• More uninterrupted time to focus on patient care and education
• Clinical autonomy and trust in your professional judgment
• A collaborative team that values communication, respect, and teamwork
• Organized workflows designed to create a smoother experience for patients and clinicians
• A welcoming practice environment where your work and expertise are valued
• The support and stability of a growing dental organization

What You Will Do

• Provide preventive and periodontal care based on each patient’s clinical needs
• Complete comprehensive patient assessments and deliver high-quality treatment
• Educate patients about their oral health and help them feel confident in their care
• Build trusting, long-term relationships with patients
• Collaborate with dentists, hygiene assistants, and other clinical team members
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Contribute to a respectful, positive, and patient-focused practice environment

What We Are Looking For

• Current New Jersey Dental Hygienist license
• Strong clinical and patient-education skills
• A gentle, compassionate, and patient-first approach
• Clear communication and a commitment to teamwork
• A dependable professional who values clinical quality and meaningful patient relationships
• Someone who appreciates having dedicated support while remaining confident and engaged in patient care

Benefit eligibility may vary based on scheduled hours, applicable plan terms, and company policies.

If you are looking for a part-time opportunity where you can focus on the clinical work you enjoy while receiving hands-on support from a dedicated assistant, we would love to meet you.
