Product Sales Specialist - Life Sciences

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Product Sales Specialist to deliver technical expertise and sales support to life-science customers across academic, pharmaceutical, and biotech sectors. The role combines product demonstrations, application guidance, and customer relationship management to advance research and manufacturing capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and value propositions to academic, pharmaceutical, biotech, and industrial customers
- Conduct product demonstrations and deliver application support for innovative product portfolio
- Develop and maintain strategic customer relationships while identifying growth opportunities
- Collaborate with sales teams to support customer research and manufacturing advancement
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to inform strategy
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, chemistry, biochemistry, biology, or related field; Master's preferred
- 5+ years technical sales experience or equivalent laboratory/industry experience
- Deep technical expertise in scientific applications and relevant workflows
- Strong presentation skills and ability to conduct technical product demonstrations
- Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and technical software
- Ability to travel 25-50% to customer sites and industry events
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and strategic relationship development
