Production Worker

Position Title: Production Worker Wage: $16.50/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm Location: Neenah, WI Join our dynamic manufacturing team in Neenah, WI as a Production Worker, where your skills contribute directly to creating high-quality mattresses. Production Worker Responsibilities: Safely and efficiently retrieve mattresses from the conveyor and position them on work tables for processing Carefully move mattresses into sewing machines and adjust machine settings, including height and needle position, to ensure proper operation Close the cover around the mattress perimeter, ensuring it aligns with quality standards Verify that law tags are correctly attached and comply with all labeling regulations Ensure mattress covers are properly closed, and perform quality checks throughout the process Add tape, thread, and replace needles as needed; oil machines regularly to maintain smooth operation Clip excess threads and observe stitching closely to identify and repair defects Communicate with Maintenance team promptly if issues originate from machine malfunctions Conduct final quality inspections, including verifying mattress size and filling, and complete all necessary paperwork according to work instructions Place completed mattresses onto the conveyor for next steps in the production process Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to sanitation and safety standards Follow all quality requirements and standards to ensure consistent product excellence Be flexible and willing to cross-train within the department to support overall production needs Support team efforts to meet daily production quotas while upholding safety and quality goals Requirements for Production Worker: Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods Capable of lifting between 25 to 50 pounds safely Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work well with others as part of a collaborative team Attention to detail to identify defects and ensure product quality Basic decision-making and problem-solving skills for efficient troubleshooting Possess basic reading skills to understand work instructions and paperwork We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr Monroechamber
