Medical Assistant, Full Time, Paradise LL Primary Care

Located in beautiful Northern California, Adventist Health Clear Lake has been a leading healthcare provider in Lake County since 1968. We are comprised of a 25-bed critical access hospital and provide primary and specialty care services at clinics throughout the area to best serve our community. This area is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, with some of the best bass fishing, rural trails for hiking and biking, all the while being only two hours from the San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento Valley or Pacific Coast.

Performs non-invasive, routine, technical support services under the specific authorization and supervision of a licensed physician, podiatrist, physician assistant, nurse practitioner or nurse midwife.

Education and Work Experience:

~ Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or equivalent combination of licensure and experience: Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Successful completion of audiometry and vision training or have a certificate from CHDP within six months of hire.: Phlebotomy certificate: Facility Specific License/Certifications:

~ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Maintains a patient recall system, including continuity of care log for lab tests, referrals and transfers. Reports significant findings and pertinent patient observations to clinic physician. Performs audiometry and vision testing.
