Join Our Caring CommunityThe Receptionist 1 receives and correctly routes incoming and outgoing telephone calls and accommodates visitors so that all callers/visitors are attended to promptly, courteously, and accurately. The Receptionist 1 performs basic administrative/clerical/operational/customer support/computational tasks. Typically works on routine and patterned assignments.As a receptionist, you'll:Greet patients and visitors warmly, in person and over the phone, creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere.Schedule and confirm patient appointments, manage calendars, and collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient flow.Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using EMR and CRM systems.Update patient accounts and collect copays when needed.Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide general information and empathy.Keep the reception area clean, stocked, and organized.Help with supply orders, inventory management, and courier coordination.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED1+ year experience in healthcare customer service background in retail, hospitality, or call centers also consideredConvey information and maintain a positive tone during callsExperience coordinating tasks, resources, and schedules to ensure efficient workflowExperience using MS Office tools for reporting, data analysis, and workflow optimizationExperience improving patient care and experienceThis is a patient-facing role and part of our Tuberculosis (TB) screening program.
