MIG WELDER FABRICATOR

Highly Experienced Mig Welder/Fabricator

We are seeking a highly experienced Mig Welder/Fabricator for a manufacturing operation in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a skilled position requiring the ability to independently read and interpret blueprints and fabricate components from drawings and specifications.

Candidates must have strong Mig welding and fabrication experience and be able to take a blueprint or fabrication drawing and accurately determine measurements, material requirements, layout, fit-up, and welding requirements to produce a completed product.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive Mig welding and metal fabrication experience required.
• Must be able to fabricate independently from blueprints.
• Strong blueprint-reading and fabrication drawing interpretation skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and work in various welding positions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as required.
• Ability to safely handle metal components and fabrication materials.
• Ability to use welding, grinding, cutting, and fabrication equipment throughout the shift.
• Must be able to wear welding helmet, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, protective clothing, and other required PPE.
