Merchandise Associate

LHH is partnering with a global consumer lifestyle brand to find a TEMP Associate Merchandiser . In this role, you will support the development and execution of regional merchandise strategies that drive strong consumer engagement while meeting financial targets. You’ll partner closely with merchandising leadership and cross‑functional teams to ensure the right product is delivered to the right stores at the right time. Ideal candidates have 1+ year of merchandising or related experience , strong analytical skills, and a passion for style, trends, and consumer‑led decision making. The organization is seeking a detail‑oriented, analytically minded merchandising professional to join the team for a short‑term 2 month contract , beginning ASAP. The team operates in a hybrid environment, with in‑office collaboration Tuesday–Thursday in Orange County, CA . This contract offers a pay rate of $29-$31/hr for a40‑hour workweek. What you will do: Support regional merchandise planning across pre‑season, seasonal, and in‑season execution Partner cross‑functionally to deliver assortment, pricing, and marketplace strategies aligned to business goals Manage in‑season performance, including capacity input, promotional support, and markdown decisions Analyze consumer demand and regional trends to inform assortment and planning decisions Produce reporting and insights to support ongoing product and performance decisions What you will bring: 1+ year of merchandising or related experience Strong strategic, analytical, and financial acumen Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly Proven problem‑solving and organizational skills Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) Strong sense of style, color trends, and athletic/lifestyle product Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment Must be based in Southern California and able to work onsite Tues–Thurs in Costa Mesa, CA If this sounds like you, please apply!
