Job Summary

The Pool Sales Specialist will serve as the primary sales and client-facing representative for new pool construction projects, guiding customers from initial inquiry through contract execution. This position works closely with operations and construction teams to ensure accurate expectations, strong communication, and a seamless handoff from sale to build. 

Your primary focus will be generating and closing new pool construction opportunities, delivering an exceptional customer experience, and supporting company growth through disciplined sales execution and strong product knowledge. This role is ideal for a sales professional who understands construction-driven sales and thrives in a performance-based environment. 

Essential Functions

• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets by actively promoting and selling new pool construction projects. 
• Qualify inbound and outbound leads, conduct consultations, and present customized pool solutions aligned with customer needs, budgets, and site conditions. 
• Build trust and urgency through consultative selling, clear timelines, and value-based presentations. 
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and consistently move prospects through the sales process to close. 

Required Skills/Abilities

• Proven experience in pool construction sales or a related consultative sales role. 
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a commission-based or performance-driven environment. 
• Strong understanding of the sales process, including lead qualification, consultations, proposal presentation, contract execution, and pipeline management. 
• Familiarity with construction workflows, timelines, and terminology. 
• Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to customers. 
• Experience managing customer documentation, contracts, scopes of work, selections, and compliance-related paperwork. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through. 
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
• Self-motivated and disciplined with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. 
• This is a full-time, in-person role with field, office, and on-site customer interaction; no remote work flexibility. 
• Must be punctual, reliable, and capable of managing a full sales pipeline with minimal supervision. 
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. 
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet customer demand. 

Preferred Skills/Abilities/Experience

• Experience within pool construction, residential construction, or real estate industries. 
• Familiarity with pool building, construction trades, sitework, grading, masonry, hardscapes, or outdoor living design. 
• Experience working with operations, project management, or construction teams.
