Home Infusion Pharmacist - Alachua, FL

Job Description

A position is available for a Pharmacist specializing in Home Infusion with an emphasis on pharmacy verification and checking duties. This role is based in Alachua, FL, with a contract-to-hire opportunity starting immediately.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday
9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Perform checking and verification of pharmacy orders related to home infusion.
Utilize the CareTend system for daily operations.
Participate in training provided to develop skills related to home infusion pharmacy practices.
Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure accurate and safe medication dispensing.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Must hold an active Florida pharmacist license.
Experience with home infusion pharmacy is highly preferred but not required.
Willingness to learn and adapt to training processes in the home infusion environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
Familiarity with pharmacy information systems, particularly CareTend, is advantageous.
