Software Dev Engineer IV

About the Role:

The Client Sales Support team is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer IV to help build and enhance internal sales workflow tools. This role involves developing lightweight front-end and back-end systems that support sales teams and operations users. The applications are expected to initially support 500 users with future scalability. This is a highly hands-on engineering role focused on full-stack development, system design, testing, and long-term maintainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain internal web-based tools and applications
• Build front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Develop backend services and automation using Python
• Work extensively with SQL databases and data management
• Develop and support cloud-based applications in AWS
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and optimization efforts
• Ensure scalability, maintainability, and high coding standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 6-7 years of software development experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Strong full-stack development experience
• Proficiency in:
  • Python
  • JavaScript
  • HTML/CSS
  • SQL
  • AWS services and cloud development
• Experience building applications/tools end-to-end
• Strong debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong database development experience
• Experience with data visualization tools or dashboards
• AWS Certification is a plus
