What You’ll DoDigital Asset Strategy & Capital Planning: Lead the strategic development and execution of Walmart Canada's building asset digitization. Manage the capital planning, execution, and tracking of large-scale building management upgrades, including transitioning legacy, end-of-life store controllers to modern, scalable technologies.Engineering & BAS Design Standards: Own and evolve Building Automation System (BAS) design and installation guidelines for Canadian retail facilities. Standardize controller points, communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus, etc.), and network architectures to ensure secure, reliable data flow.IoT & Telemetry Innovation: Strategically transition controls from legacy hardware to software-defined platforms, enabling scalable remote diagnostics, advanced telemetry, and AI-driven predictive maintenance. Pilot and scale next-generation energy management and automation solutions.Cross-Functional Orchestration: Partner closely with Global Tech, Construction, Facilities Maintenance, Energy Teams, and Procurement to maximize equipment uptime, resolve active installation gaps, and drive down the total cost of ownership (TCO).Governance & IT/OT Security: Enforce Walmart's information security and network architecture policies across the building automation and operational technology (OT) environment to safeguard physical and digital infrastructure.Vendor & SLA Performance: Manage strategic relationships with control vendors, equipment manufacturers, and contractors.
