Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 24 months of experience in Med Surg / Med Surg Tele License: Active Iowa (IA) license or compact/multistate license Certifications: BLS - Basic Life Support Must-Have: Proficiency in caring for all patient types in a variety of med surg patients. Experience with heparin administration. Experience with EPIC EMR. Skills in telemetry/cardiac background are highly preferred. Recent charge experience is highly preferred. Recent precept experience is preferred. Description: We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Registered Nurse for our Med Surg/Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment. The Registered Nurse will provide care for a diverse patient population requiring med surg care. Patient ratios on the unit are 4-5:1. This position requires the ability to float across various campuses and units. We are committed to building a strong culture that encourages learning and growth among team members. Candidates should bring positive attitudes and ideas to contribute to the team's success. The contractor will be required to work 1-2 of the following upcoming summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, or Labor Day. All nurses will be expected to support their teammates and collaborate effectively within the unit.
