BachelorLocal & national discounts (YETI, Burton, Dell, Subaru, Nokian, Sunriver Golf, Mammut, & more)Free reciprocal access for employees to other POWDR resorts & 50% day passes at IKON pass resortsPosition SummaryOversees snow removal staff in the plowing of the Parking lot and Roads.Essential Functions/Major ResponsibilitiesCommunicate information between the manager and employees.Create a work schedule for the crew.Monitor payroll in Workday.Establish a plan for each shift and lead operators in safe operations.Ability to train employees on the safe and proper operation of equipment.Watch for weather changes and equipment issues, and communicate with the manager clearly.Clear parking lots and roadways of snow.Clear snow from maintenance areas.Clean ice and snow from equipment and complete equipment inspections each shift.Tire chain building and repair for equipment.Secondary FunctionAssist mechanics in servicing equipment as needed.Work with grooming in hauling of snow for day operations.Ensure walls are cut and clean between storms.Open and clear drains as the weather dictates.Pull ice pack layer on roadways and parking lots.Repair potholes in the lot/roads as needed.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNumber of employees supervised: Up to 10.Positions supervised: Plow operators 1 and 2.Scheduling and assigning work: Assign employees to equipment and tasks, and follow up on the completion of tasks.Training: Train employees on safe, proper, and efficient equipment operations.Salary actions: None.Disciplinary actions: Document action when needed.Performance review: Mid-Season and End-of-Season reviews for operators.Hiring/Termination: Work with the Fleet Maintenance & Snow Removal manager for hiring/terminations.Interpersonal ContactsPublic Safety/Security, Grooming operations, Vehicle mechanics, Parking attendants, Lift Maintenance mechanics, Lift Services (tubing hill operations), and early arriving guests in parking lots.Specific Job SkillsLicense/Certifications: Current and Valid Driver's licenseTechnical: Experience with heavy equipment machinery.Physical Capabilities: Able to work at night in variable weather conditions.Education/Related ExperienceMinimum education required: High School or equivalentMinimum time in related position: 2 years either supervising staff or 2 years of heavy equipment operationsCurrent Hiring Rate: $27.58/hrMinimum Age Requirement: 18+Come Work Where You Play!Please be aware incomplete applications will not be accepted or reviewed.
