Regional Land Surveyors, Inc is looking to enhance and expand our 3D Laser Scanning services and is accepting applications for this unique opportunity for the right qualified candidate. Essential functions of this position includes project planning, performing office calculations/drafting and on-site 3D laser scanning, compiling, registering, and generating 3D models and project deliverables. The candidate will also perform field visits and training of developing employees. Required Skills Regional Land Surveyors is seeking qualified instrument operators for local and out of town work. A minimum of 2 years of experience in land surveying is required as well as a strong understanding of GPS and Conventional survey methods. Applicants should have experience with Carlson SurvCE data collection software (or similar software), GPS receivers, and conventional and robotic total stations. Out of town travel on a weekly basis may be required. Annual and random drug screening is required as well as pre-employment background check, and a satisfactory driving record. Lead 2 and 3 person survey crews while executing field surveys accurately and efficiently. Supervise survey crew members in proper surveying technique/equipment operations.
