Maintenance Coordinator

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Maintenance Coordinator for a dairy ingredient manufacturing company in Melrose, MN. In this role, you'll help ensure the efficient operation of plant equipment while coordinating maintenance systems, preventive maintenance activities, and repair projects. Create, assign, and track maintenance work orders and preventive maintenance activities

Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment, production systems, and facility equipment

Order and maintain inventory of parts, tools, and maintenance supplies

Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on motors, pumps, conveyors, valves, and related equipment

Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals

Coordinate contractor maintenance activities and support maintenance scheduling efforts

Serve as backup to the Maintenance Supervisor and assist with employee training as needed

High School Diploma or GED required; trade school education is a plus

2-4 years of manufacturing maintenance experience preferred

Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude

Ability to diagnose and repair electrical systems up to 480V, including 3-phase power

Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout procedures and electrical safety practices

Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills

Valid driver's license required

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and materials as needed

Ability to work weekends, overtime, and occasional call-ins
