Overview SIGN ON BONUS $10,000 NEW HIRES ONLY Location : BSWH THE PLAZA, College Station, TX Shift : Day, Monday – Thursday 7:15 am – 5:30 pm; Friday 7:15 am – 5:00 pm (flexible) Department : Physical Therapy Outpatient Orthopedics Responsibilities Provide care to patients through evaluation, treatment planning, treatment implementation, patient education and discharge planning to maximize the patient\'s functional level. Evaluate, treat and monitor patients; modify therapy programs and goals as needed. Communicate effectively with patients, families, departmental coworkers, and members of the medical care team; provide education to patients, families and staff. Supervise support staff, students and volunteers as appropriate. Maintain clinical documentation in a thorough and timely manner; ensure accurate entry of charges and understanding of reimbursement related to the practice setting. Advance clinical skills through ongoing education, literature review and implementation of evidence‑based practice; share knowledge to develop colleagues; adhere to organizational, national, and state regulatory guidelines. Align individual goals and work activities with system goals; contribute to the organizational focus and patient care excellence. Qualifications EDUCATION: Masters' or Bachelors degree plus 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification EXPERIENCE: Experience in outpatient orthopedics; preferred but not required CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION: Physical Therapist (PT); Basic Life Support (BLS) required (BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer) Preferred experience: Attended or currently attending an accredited PT program or have a temporary license; advanced certifications such as dry needling, CSCS, SCS, etc., are highly desired Benefits Immediate eligibility for health and welfare benefits 401(k) savings plan with dollar-for-dollar match up to 5% Tuition reimbursement PTO accrual beginning Day 1 Note: Benefits may vary based upon position type and/or level #J-18808-Ljbffr Baylor Scott & White Health
