Job Summary
Telemetry (TELE) Registered Nurse in a medical-surgical unit working night shifts. This position involves providing specialized patient care to a diverse adult population, primarily focusing on cardiac patients recovering from interventions such as cardiac surgery, stent placement, or pacemaker implants. The role requires a minimum of 1.5 years of relevant experience and current certification in BLS, NIHSS, and ACLS.

Job Details

• Certifications: BLS, NIHSS, ACLS required; active license in state or compact license in hand at time of submittal
• Education and Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in telemetry or related area; 2 years of overall clinical experience preferred
• Responsibilities include managing cardiac telemetry, arterial line management, managing Vasoactive drips, interpreting dysrhythmias, and administering blood products
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Patient Care: Serving a patient census of approximately 36 adults with a focus on cardiac care, including post-operative recovery and stabilization of cardiac conditions
• Additional responsibilities include managing sheaths, participating in Rapid Response/Code teams, wound care, and patient monitoring with interdisciplinary support
• Travel experience is preferred; candidate must meet specific compliance rules and licensing requirements
