Role Overview

We invite a skilled and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Specialist to join our expanding team of imaging experts dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. You will engage with cutting-edge ultrasound technology to conduct diagnostic examinations, work collaboratively with a nurturing team of healthcare professionals, and contribute to an atmosphere of reassurance and accuracy for patients through reliable imaging.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive range of ultrasound assessments, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts scanning
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, transparently guiding them through each stage
• Partner with radiologists and medical professionals to deliver high-caliber diagnostic imaging
• Operate and care for imaging equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues
• Maintain meticulous documentation and patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay informed on the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging methodologies and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a Sonography program accredited by CAAHEP is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Essential Skills

• Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and appropriate patient positioning
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
