What You'll Do As a Front Desk Clerk at CCHS, you'll help patients navigate the administrative side of their care while supporting an efficient and welcoming clinic environment. Your responsibilities will include: Greeting patients and visitors and providing friendly, professional assistance Answering incoming calls and scheduling appointments for new and established patients Registering patients and maintaining accurate contact, insurance, demographic, and other required information Providing patients with information about CCHS services and applicable fees Coordinating walk-in appointment requests and accurately documenting patient visits Collecting and accurately recording patient payments and providing receipts Completing appointment reminders and following up on missed appointments Monitoring telephone messages, incoming faxes, and other front-office communications Maintaining accurate information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system Working closely with providers, clinical staff, and other team members to support patient flow and continuity of care Protecting patient privacy and confidentiality What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of one year of experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting required Experience with patient scheduling, registration, insurance information, or other medical front-office functions Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office applications, and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Clear and professional verbal and written communication Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately enter and maintain patient information Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and changing priorities in a busy environment Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team Commitment to maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality Clinic Location and Hours: 1600 Ellis Street, Brunswick, GA 31520 Monday: 8:00am - 6:00pm Friday: 8:00am - 3:00pm Why Join CCHS?
