Registered Nurse (RN) - Charge Nurse Job Type: Part Time | Nights (7 p - 6:30 a) St. Mary Rehabilitation Hospital is part of Lifepoint Health. As a Registered Nurse (RN) Charge Nurse, you will lead nursing staff, oversee patient care, and ensure safe, high-quality care during night shifts (7:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.). Responsibilities Provide direct patient care and clinical oversight during assigned shifts. Prioritize and coordinate patient care activities to meet unit demands. Assist with admissions, discharges, and care planning. Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing team members. Monitor patient conditions and facilitate timely communication with providers. Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to safety standards. Collaborate with nursing leadership to support quality, safety, and staff performance initiatives. Function as a point of contact in the absence of the Chief Nursing Officer or Nursing leadership. Qualifications Current Pennsylvania or compact state RN license. Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school (BSN preferred). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred. Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) preferred. Six months of medical/surgical experience preferred. Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage for part-time employees.
