Key Responsibilities of the RN - Endoscopy

• Apply nursing knowledge and skills in the delivery of compassionate care
• Assess patient and family needs, creating care plans with interdisciplinary team
• Promote and advocate for patient health, safety, and rights
• Motivate and educate patients and families for post-discharge self-care
• Evaluate nursing practice quality and effectiveness, initiating improvements as needed
• Develop helping, trustful relationships with patients and families
• Administer medications and interventions skillfully

Requirements of the RN - Endoscopy

• NYS RN Licensure
• One (1) year of experience serving in an Endoscopy environment as a Registered Nurse
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications
