As a Journeyman Sheet Metal Installer, you'll play a critical role in the installation, fabrication, and assembly of HVAC sheet metal systems for commercial and industrial construction projects. You'll work alongside skilled professionals, solve challenges in the field, and help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

• Install HVAC sheet metal systems including:
  • Rectangular, square, round, spiral, rigid, and flex ductwork
  • Air handlers and ductless split systems
  • Furnace casings, flashing, pipes, tubes, and related components
• Install hangers, support systems, Uni-Strut assemblies, and hanging straps.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and mechanical construction drawings to plan and execute installations.
• Accurately measure, cut, drill, punch, and fabricate sheet metal components.
• Modify and fabricate materials on-site using hand tools, power tools, shears, brakes, punches, and drills.
• Ensure proper fit, finish, and quality by trimming, grinding, deburring, buffing, and smoothing components.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work independently or collaboratively to complete projects on schedule.
• Assist with material handling, site cleanup, and other duties required to keep projects moving forward.
• Lead small crews when needed and help coordinate day-to-day field activities.

✔ 5+ years of Journeyman or Foreman-level sheet metal installation experience

✔ Extensive commercial and industrial HVAC installation experience

✔ Strong knowledge of:

• Sheet metal fabrication
• HVAC duct systems
• Mechanical construction practices

✔ Ability to install and work with:

• Rectangular duct
• Round duct
• Spiral duct
• Flex duct
• Rigid duct systems

✔ Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings

✔ Experience using sheet metal hand tools, cordless drills, and fabrication equipment

✔ Ability to work safely in physically demanding environments, including:

• Ladders
• Scissor lifts
• Elevated work areas
• Tight or confined spaces

✔ Reliable transportation

✔ Valid Driver's License

✔ Must provide your own sheet metal tools

• Foreman or crew leadership experience
• HVAC apprenticeship completion or trade school diploma
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• Experience managing small crews and running projects independently
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Positive attitude with a self-starter mentality

You'll work primarily on commercial construction projects, representing approximately 98% of our workload. Every day presents new challenges as you install and fabricate HVAC systems in active construction environments alongside other skilled trades.

This is a hands-on role for professionals who enjoy building, problem-solving, and seeing the results of their work take shape. Successful candidates are comfortable working in fast-paced environments, maintaining high quality standards, and helping projects stay on track from start to finish.

This is a Permanent position based out of Tolleson, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Tolleson,AZ.
